The Art.

As with Self, the shape of the Kobbi Intimacy Symbol evokes a single entity—yet, it is comprised of two mirrored "selves," intimately connected at the core in a heart-shaped manner. The rounded curves evoke an embracing sense of, connection, protection, and support.

The Meaning.

Intimacy is the cherished sharing of one's self with another. Within intimacy, two beings choose one another as life partners and walk life's journeys hand-in-hand with a special bond.

Mindful appreciation of the gift of intimacy opens us to fully receive the power and potential of knowing another person at every level of their being —and in turn, of being known. It reminds us that we can more fully experience life—body, mind and spirit—in tandem with someone we love.
 
Intimacy with our life partners is a cherished gift, and yet, one that can easily be taken for granted. Whether or not you are currently intimate with someone, take a moment to reflect on what you are most thankful for within the context of intimacy. What aspects of your life's journey have you enjoyed sharing on an intimate level with another?
